1. The guaranteed PC purchase in energy is 140,000, with little change in 2000.The guaranteed computer purchase in petroleum and petrochemicals industry is 120,000, in which PC occupies 74%, and purchases in 2000 will show a continuous increase. The guaranteed computer purchase in the petroleum and petrochemicals industry is 50,000, and purchases in 2000 will show an increase.

2. The network construction in the year 2000 reached certain levels, in which the dedicated microwave communication network for the power industry is over 33,000 kilometers, and optical fiber is more than 3,000 kilometers

3. By keeping up the investments on the production and the operation application system, the energy industry will enhance the construction of marketing management system and e-commerce platform.

4. It is estimated that the total investment on the normalization of the energy industry in 2001 will reach 6.8 billion RMB.
